TONGUE COMPETITION

Chuck and Buck think they don’t have anything in common anymore. But the truth is…..they do.

They are both 10 ½ years old. They are both spoiled and they both love food. Chuck is the snarkier of the two, but Buck can be a little pistol if protecting his house and our property. Chuck sometimes hides underneath Buck when trying to escape from his pen. He fits perfectly under there and Buck just stands there like he doesn’t know anyone is directly below him. They are quite a pair and we are glad that they are still friends after all of these years. Though if Buck would have tried to steal ham from Chuck, they would not be friends and Buck might be missing an ear or something. In case we forgot to mention, Buck is super smart that way and knows better than to mess with Chuck’s ham. Don’t we all?

NOW YOU SEE HER......

This week's blog focuses on Dutchess. She likes to hide under the bed, but she is kind of a full-figured gal if you know what I mean. Watching her crawl under the bed is pretty humorous. Of course, we don't laugh out loud because she can be a little bit of a snark. (worse than me!). So we just watch her and giggle inside our heads. I don't know why she doesn't do the blanket thing like I do. It is so much easier and quicker. Who knows? The bed is really big so maybe she just needs the space. (that wasn't a joke about her being fat, I promise)

BUCK'S BLOG?

HERE I AM WAITING FOR SOME ATTENTION PLEASE!

I think Buck’s blog instead of Chuck’s has a better ring to it. I told Chuck to just take a vacation for a week and to let me fill in for him. I met some of you last year when I was injured. I suffered a spinal stroke and had to do lots of rehab to get back to being myself. At one point, I couldn’t use any of my legs and it was super scary! During that time, my parents gave me so much attention that I kind of got used to it so now I kind of demand it from them constantly. I expect to be able to run outside with them and visit the barn, the mailbox and take the trash out. My front left leg isn’t perfect, but it is so much better than before. I can run and chase bunnies and I am super grateful for that. Oh wait, I am not allowed to chase bunnies, but I can run by them pretty fast. (I do always look for them) I also like to wait to poop until I am out and running free. I have pooped in so many places, it is hard for my parents to keep up with any poop scooping. I bet they are hoping they don’t find it accidentally if you know what I mean. Anyway, I just wanted to check in with Chuck’s fans,

knowing that you could be my fans too!

ANYTHING FOR LOVE...NO....ANYTHING FOR FOOD....YES!

Some people will do anything for money or love. Some people will do anything for fame. We dogs will do just about anything for a treat. My parents have finally figured this out. After years of yelling at me for being naughty, they are now choosing the smart option. I have a tendency to run out to the yard when they want me to go to my pen. By waving a treat in front of my little nose, I now comply with whatever they need at that moment. Mostly! Every now and then, I forget and do something stupid and miss out on my treat, but I am much better than I used to be. Is your life like this? Do you sometimes forget about the rewards and then kick yourself later for missing out? I am sort of a little Chihuahua philosopher don't you think?

BACK TO SCHOOL? REALLY?

NAPPING- STUDY HALL
NAP PREP CLASS

BREAKFAST CLASS
I can’t believe that some of your kids have to go back to school already. It just doesn’t seem fair since it is still summer, the last time I checked. I am not personally involved in this whole thing because I am home-schooled, but I do feel bad for the little children. If they would like to join me at my home school, I would be happy to welcome you into my home for some quality education. Just so you know the curriculum, I get a little breakfast studying done and then I move on to my next class which is “Advanced Napping”. This class is my favorite. I am super good at it and you will be too! Later that day, I get to focus on “Afternoon Napping” which is also really informative. Then I have the dinner class that focuses a lot on food. As you can see, I have a well -rounded education and I am still able to enjoy my summer. I think that the education system should look at my schooling and offer my education to all who qualify. Which would be everyone!!!! Oh and my school goes all year round, but I don’t mind.
