WHO NOSE?

I want to share a little story with you……
It was getting dark outside and the wind was blowing against the windows. I was happily wrapped up in my blanket all warm and toasty. The girls were sleeping too which kept things nice and quiet. All of the sudden, in comes my Mom with the paper towels to pick up our most recent poop offerings. I can’t see her because I am mostly hidden in the darkness. I hear the rustling of the paper towels and my Mom talking about how gross we are (you know the pee and poop thing) and the next thing I know she tries to grab my nose with the paper towel. She thought my nose was a piece of poop. Now this would be funny if it were some dog other than me, but it was ME. She then laughed and left my nose alone. Thank goodness she wasn't using a poop scooper! This story is an example of the abuse that I put up with in my house. I just thought you should know. In light of this horrific story, you can send me gifts to compensate for my horrible situation. If you need any gift suggestions, please read my previous blogs. Lots of hints for you!

CHUCK WANTS A CHICK!

LOOK AT ALL OF THESE LITTLE CUTE CHICKS!

My Mom went to the Big R Store and took a picture of a bunch of baby chicks. I think that I want one as a little chirping pet/friend. They are super cute and they sound a lot like a squeaky toy. I think that we would make a great pair, me and the chick. Now I am a little concerned that the chick might turn into a chicken. If that happens, it might peck me or it might over hear me planning on having it for dinner and come after me with it’s big bird claws. Maybe I don’t want a chick. I might have to just get a hamster that comes in a guaranteed size if you know what I mean.

CLOSET YOGA

As I await a pick-up from my closet, I am finished with my dinner and feeling a little full so I do a little yoga. It is very relaxing you know and many people find that it helps to relieve stress and tension. I don’t necessarily recommend doing it on a super full stomach like I do, but you could certainly benefit from a down dog here and there in your life. I find the down dog to be my favorite pose, not just because of the name, but for me, I can get my little butt really high in the air and still be able to wag my tail. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is your favorite pose too! Anyway, I just wanted to give you some advice on how to remove stress from your life. Yoga in the closet is an excellent way to start. Try it, it is fun!

SLEEPING BEAUTY

THERE ARE LOTS OF DOG FEET IN THIS PHOTO!
Looks can be deceiving. Take Lacey for example. Look how cute she looks while she is hogging the whole front half of the dog bed. You would never know from this photo that she barks at everything and pees on everything too. She has a cute package on the outside with a whole lot of baggage and naughty behaviors on the inside. I bet you can think of a few people that you know who are like that huh? Well, as the exception: I am cute on the outside and just as cute on the inside. No pretenses or issues, just a super cute well- behaved dog. OK, so that might be a tiny bit of a stretch, but I am really cute. Anyway, remember when you are meeting someone new, you must dig deeper sometimes for their inner “Cute Chuck” Sometimes they might not have it so don’t waste your time with them.

HIPPITY HOP, CHUCK IS ON HIS WAY!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PICTURE OF US TOGETHER! LOOK HOW MUCH SHE LOVES ME!!!
Most of you know Becky. She is the Practice Manager at my Mom’s work. Every week I e-mail her inviting her to go out for coffee or asking her for stuff. For Easter, I asked her to cook me a ham and that I would bring over some “bunny like surprises.” She flat out said that she didn’t want any bunny surprises. Do you think this means that she won’t be cooking my ham? I do invite myself to her house frequently, but so far, I have not gotten to go. I wonder if she is just too awed by my awesomeness to let me visit. I think that I will just do a sneak attack for Easter. She may say she doesn’t want my little surprises, but I think that deep down she does. Happy Easter. Just be glad that I am not showing up at your house.

RELOCATION

DID YOU NOT HEAR ME HOWLING?
For as long as I can remember our little dog pen has been in the kitchen. Well, I kept hearing my Mom talk about getting us out of the kitchen and I thought she meant for a walk or a little Chihuahua field trip, but no. She meant moving us OUT! We have been relocated to another room and I must say that I am just a little bit upset. I am expressing my displeasure in a few unique ways: I am howling frequently, I sit at the gate of the new pen and whine incessantly and I am trying to poop more just to make a point. I like the kitchen. That is where the food is. Now I am stuck sleeping next to the big dogs because they seem to like to hang out in my room! Lacey has been peeing on stuff even more (if that is actually possible) No one pees as much as she does, and in this case, I get that she wants to make a point too! Cayenne is completely lost and she barks just in case she might be missing something. The kitchen was like front row seats at a game or a movie. That is where all of the action is! I am going to up my bad behavior and see if I can get back to my previous neighborhood. Wish me luck. If it doesn’t work, maybe I could come live in your kitchen?

POT OF GOLD OR POT OF HAM?

I HOPE I AM NOT SITTING ON THE BLARNEY STONE!
I have done some research on St. Patrick’s Day and have made some choices for my holiday activities. First, I will kiss the Blarney Stone because rumor has it that it tastes just like ham. If that is the case, I will go beyond kissing and move on to actually eating the stone. I wonder how big it is. Second, I will catch a Leprechaun. I have heard that they are pretty naughty, but I am thinking that they can’t even come close to my naughtiness. I hope they don’t read this and move my furniture around while I am sleeping. Third, I am going to eat some corned beef and cabbage. I may skip the cabbage, but the corned beef is a sure thing. Finally, I will seek out my pot of ham at the end of the rainbow. I am not sure what a rainbow is, but if there is ham at the beginning or the end of it, I will sniff it out! I might have to eat the entire rainbow if it comes to that. I didn’t even get to the green beer. It is going to be a busy day for this green loving Chihuahua!
