I AM LOOKING A LITTLE BIT SAD HERE, BUT VERY NON DRAMATICALLY!

I am feeling a tiny bit depressed this week. The weather has been really cold and I just want to stay under my blanket until it is warmer. Of course, I have to come out to eat, but maybe my Mom would consider bringing my food to me, under the blanket. I do get a little bit scarfy and slurpy while eating so it might be best to keep me in an open and contained area. None of this is important in this moment. What is important is my state of mind. My Mom says that I am a drama king and that I over-due my moods fairly frequently. I just wanted to check in with you and see if you think that I have too much drama for a small Chihuahua? I only complain about stuff that is important and I am only demanding because I deserve the best. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with that. I think that the winter months are more drama inspiring. In the summer, I feel laid back and I just want to put all of my little feet up while slurping on a beer. Maybe that is my problem? I need to drink more beer in the winter. OK, I don’t ever actually get beer, but it sounded really cool when I was thinking about it. Hmmmmm

LOVE POEMS

Since it is the day of love, I thought I would share some of my most intimate poems with you. I don’t share these with just anyone, but on this special day you will receive this little gift from me. 

Roses are Red, Violets are blue, I am super naughty and proud of it too!

Love is like a flower blooming in the spring- Love is one of those feelings that makes you want to sing
Love is ham sitting in my dish – Making me so happy, it is my favorite wish
Ham is my favorite thing and my love for it is true – Don’t you try to steal it or I will surely bite you!

HERE SHE IS - JUST GETTING STARTED

I am willingly giving my blog to Lacey this week. Ok, she isn’t getting to write it, that would be my job, but she is the star of the blog. I know that she bugs me and stuff, but she had a rough time before coming to my house. I was very lucky from the start and had a good home and good parents, but Lacey came from Mill Dog Rescue. The really nice and wonderful people from the rescue saved her from a horrible life in a kennel. I try to be a little bit nicer to her when I am not being selfish because she deserves some happiness. She had never before had a toy or slept in a comfy dog bed and that is super sad. Now that she has had the good life for a few years now, she loves the dog beds and the toys. Once she gets a toy in her mouth, she runs around and won’t put it down. (not even for ham- can you believe it?) She makes little noises while carrying the toy and it is super funny. I don’t laugh out loud because I don’t want to offend her, but we are all laughing inside our heads. If you are thinking of getting a dog, it might be a cool idea to get one from a rescue. They are very grateful and they will thank you for the rest of their lives! Just for the record: it is not that I am ungrateful, I am really just entitled. That is ok right?

SUPER-BOWL OF FOOD!

JUST WAITING FOR THE HAM BOWL TO START- I MEAN SUPER HAM BOWL!

As the Super Bowl approaches, I would like to point out that New England is famous for its clam chowder and Philadelphia is known for its Philly steak sandwiches. These both sound appealing to me, but I would like to know when the HAM team will be playing in the big game. I will for sure eat the steak sandwich this go- round and I will certainly lap up the chowder, but I think a giant ham sandwich with a side of potato chips is a sure winner. I am not sure who the ham team is and I really don’t care who wins or loses as long as I get my sandwich. Please root for the ham team next year and make sure that they are in the game and giving me what I want. Thank you sports fans for having my back!
