Tell me it’s not over!

I’m still wearing my Christmas bib waiting for more food to arrive from Santa. Surely it isn’t just one day of fun, festivities, presents and food. According to the Chihuahua calendar, this is a weeklong event. Each day there should be food o plenty and a different present for me every few hours or so. Please tell me if my information is wrong. Actually don’t tell me if I am wrong because I won’t believe you. I think the world should operate by my schedule. Think how much happier everyone would be… Sleep, wake up, eat, sleep, play, snack, sleep, eat, play before dinner, eat, and sleep! See what I mean? That is the Chuck’s holiday or any day schedule. Feel free to use it if you would like. You can also add the present option somewhere between eating and sleeping. You choose!  I think you will see that your life becomes less stressful and it will feel more like Christmas 364 other days of the year!!!

Chucky the Snowman...

Chucky the snowman was a very bad, bad dog
He can eat all day make you laugh and say
Oh my gosh, he is a hog

Chucky the snowman was as bad as he could be
He can hide when he’s bad
Make you super mad
When you’re cleaning up his pee

There must have been some magic in the food he stole that day
For when you chase him through the house,
He thinks you want to play

Chucky the snowman he’s never been a very good boy
If it belongs to you, he will steal it too
He thinks your stuff should be his toy.

Chucky the snowman thinks he always gets his way
With dog psychology, you still can’t see
You can’t get this dog to STAY

There must have been some magic in the treats he stole today
For when he choked them down his throat
You weren’t sure he’d be ok.

Spankity spank spank
Spankity spank spank
Look at Chucky go
Spankity spank spank
Spankity spank spank
He doesn’t get when you say NO!

I'll be good next year, probably, I really can't promise though.

BRRRRRRRRRR…..It’s Cold!

I don’t mind a few snowy days as long as I don’t have to participate. I am not a skier or a snowboarder so I will just look out the window! Well unfortunately with the snow come some really cold temperatures! This seems to be something that I can’t just observe from my window because it is too cold to sit there. The dog door is practically frozen shut so even if I wanted to go out, it isn’t going to happen. I need my blankets in the dryer more often and I think that I would just crawl in the dryer if it meant keeping warm! I am not traveling right now since my Mom doesn’t want me in the car cause she thinks it is too cold out, well I think she is right! I don’t need to go anywhere! The other day, I was running around the house and I wanted my Mom to know how frustrated I am by the weather so I pooped on her bed. Instead of being sympathetic, she was really mad! You would think that she would be more understanding with my stress, but not so much! I guess I will have to find another way to express myself. Do you have any ideas that don’t involve poop?

Life is a ball of treats!

One of my favorite things in life is my treat ball. I wait and wait FOREVER and then it is finally time. The ball comes out, the treats go in and I push that thing around on the floor until all of the snacks are gone. If someone would let me, I could do this all day long. It is kind of cool that I am exercising and eating at the same time. You should try it! You could jog and snack or ride a bike while eating a sandwich or shove a candy bar in your mouth while doing a yoga class. These are all just some suggestions for you that could make exercise a little bit more fun! I also think my treat ball is an example of how you need to live your life. You push it around and around and if you persist, good things fall out of it and land in your mouth. In life, sometimes you have to push for things you want, be patient and wait for the spoils! Did I just say that I am spoiled? Oh, maybe not, I just used that word in a different way. Anyway, find your treat ball and wait for amazing things to fall out!

Thanksgiving Food Hangover

Well here I am sleepy again. The holiday has come and gone and all I remember is a blur of a Chihuahua induced feeding frenzy. I have dreams of turkey and pie all flying into my mouth at warp speed and me trying to get more, but knowing that the food is all gone. Black Friday for me means that all I can see is the black under my blanket where no light can get through so that I can sleep off my Thanksgiving binge. I am not the only one who feels this way. Everyone in my house is just a bit sluggish and not able to get around very quickly. The dogs are all napping a lot and my parents won’t get out of bed. Wow, what a holiday. I do hope that my Mom will get up and go shopping on Black Friday and maybe she will bring home some presents for me that she got on clearance! (Whatever that means) I only understand PRESENTS and ME. This is all the information I need to feel safe, secure and spoiled no matter what holiday comes around. If you have over-fed yourself on Thanksgiving, you are not alone. Get some sleep and be ready for the next holiday where food is the star of the show and I am the best supporting actor! Do you think they make a tuxedo in my size? I hope I won’t look fat on TV!
